Sometimes I introduce myself to people as being an “Everything Barbie.”  Isn’t that the inspiration of Barbie?  One second she’s an astronaut, the next she’s driving a convertible to the beach with her friends.  Being multi-faceted with various interests is something I pride myself on. 

When it comes to my work as a solo-practice life sciences compliance and brand attorney, it shows up in a few ways…  I’m a:

In regards to my professional qualifications:

I am an attorney licensed to practice law in California, New York, and New Jersey.  I am a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (Yeshiva University, NY) and Rutgers College (Rutgers University, NJ).

I have been working in the life sciences industry as an attorney and/or compliance professional since 2008.  In that time, I have been an outside counsel or consultant (EY, PwC, Rebel Compliance), an in-house compliance and brand attorney (Orexigen, Nalpropion, Neurocrine), and have spent hours in the field at speaker programs as well as on MSL and sales representative field rides. 

In 2020, I launched SD Consulting Services, Inc., dba Rebel Compliance, while I awaited the results of my California Bar admission application and took the time to properly launch Rebel Compliance Law, PC in 2022 to more full serve my clients.
